The PREMIER Model Field and Brush Mower features a manual starting Briggs and Stratton engine with a gear-driven 3-speed transmission and power reverse, giving it the versatility of our other Field and Brush mowers. The knobby, powered wheels and commercial-duty clutch - the same clutch found in our larger models - give it traction and maneuverability. It will cut saplings up to 3/4" thick and mow through 3-foot high grass, weeds and brush.

• Industrial/Commercial Brake&Clutch
  Stops the mower's belt and blade from turning when you let go of the controls. It also allows you to drive the machine to and from your work site without the blade turning.
• Gear Driven Transmission

The DR® All-TerrainTM Field and Brush Mower is an amazing mower - it mows and chops all types of vegetation, cuts brush, brambles - even 2½ inch thick saplings. It turns your problem areas into an attractive, low-maintenance meadow that you need only cut once or twice a year. Its self-propelled, and can get where large equipment cant - for example, to thin undergrowth in woodland.

Swinging Brush Blades

To protect the spindle and engine, the blades pivot when they hit an immovable object. The blade spindle has a 1-3/8” thick steel shaft mounted top and bottom with 30 mm ball bearings. If the blade hits an immovable object, the belt will slip without damaging the spindle.
